Let’s Talk Gravy! My Favorite Recipes Just for You

Hi Reader,

I don’t know about you, but in my kitchen, gravy is the unsung hero of so many meals. Whether it’s smothered over biscuits, poured generously over mashed potatoes, or drizzled on a perfectly cooked roast, a good gravy can take any dish to the next level.

The recipes below are tried, true, and delicious. I know they’ll find a special spot in your kitchen, just like they have in mine.

1. Grandma's Giblet Gravy

This recipe was given to me by my husband's Grandma Corine. She'll be 105 on December 1st, and she is one of the most amazing women I've ever met. I love this recipe because it's simple yet so delicious. It's a true classic that's perfect for your holiday table, made with turkey or chicken giblets and finished with a hard-boiled egg.

2. Easy Gravy Without Drippings

If you are air frying or frying a turkey, you likely won't have drippings to make a gravy. No worries, this no-drippings gravy will give you some of the most amazing-tasting gravy you've ever had. I make it every Thanksgiving.

3. How to Make Gravy from Drippings

But if you have some pan-drippings, then you'll want to make this recipe. Here's my go-to method of making gravy when you've got drippings.

4. Southern Chocolate Gravy

This sweet chocolate gravy is perfect to smother over biscuits for breakfast. My daughter tells all her friends about how her mom makes biscuits and smothers them in chocolate. Like she starts random convos with it lol. It's so good and such a classic.

I hope you’ll give these recipes a try and share them with your loved ones. Gravy isn’t just a sauce—it’s a little bit of magic you can pour over your food. Let me know which one is your favorite.

Hi Reader, Let me tell you—if I can spatchcock a turkey, anyone can! I used to think this method sounded way too fancy (or intimidating), but trust me, it’s simpler than you’d expect. Plus, the results are out of this world: juicy meat, crispy skin, and a faster cooking time. With this recipe, you’ll flatten your turkey for even cooking, season it to perfection, and roast it to golden-brown deliciousness. The best part? You don’t need to be a pro chef to make this happen.
