Grandma Corine's Giblet Gravy Recipe

Hi Reader,

This giblet gravy recipe has been a part of my husband's family for generations, and I'm so grateful his grandmother, Corine Cannon, shared it with me. She's turning 106 on December 1st, and I can't wait to celebrate with her.

This was one of the most popular recipes on my site this past Thanksgiving. Seeing how many of you made it and brought it to your own tables meant everything to me. There's something special about a recipe that connects families across generations like that.

What makes this gravy work:

๐Ÿฆƒ Uses the giblets that come with your turkey (or chicken) โ€“ nothing goes to waste.

๐Ÿฆƒ Calls for a hard-boiled egg to give it body, an old trick from when you'd have leftover eggs from baking your Thanksgiving cakes.

๐Ÿฆƒ It's a base recipe you can build on. Add herbs, adjust the seasoning, and make it your own. I've had people tell me they make theirs by adding cream soups, peppers, and onions.

If you missed making it for Thanksgiving, it's perfect for your Holiday turkey or any Sunday roast. And if you did make it, I'd love to hear how it turned out.

Happy Cooking,

This year, I'm making some of the Jamaican recipes that I grew up eating around Thanksgiving. So alongside the turkey, mac and cheese, and candied sweet potatoes, we'll have some Caribbean flavors at the table. Here's what I'm bringing: ๐Ÿ› Curry Goat โ€“ Falls-apart tender meat in a rich, spiced curry sauce. This one takes...

Hi Reader, My allergies have been acting up lately, and when I feel like this, the last thing I want is a complicated recipe. But I still need something warm and comforting, right? That's when I make this Zuppa Toscana. It comes together so easily, and it tastes exactly like what I need. Creamy, savory, with that little kick from the sausage. Plus, this soup makes enough for leftovers the next day, which is always a win. A few things that make this soup great: ๐Ÿฅ” You can whatever potatoes you...
