The Lazy Baker's Secret Weapon (Cherry Pineapple Dump Cake)


Hi Reader,

It's baking season, and I'll be honest, I love being what I call a lazy baker. I like having things in my back pocket that I can whip up without a ton of effort or equipment. This Cherry Pineapple Dump Cake is exactly that kind of recipe.

Don't let the name fool you, it's actually really delicious. It's called a dump cake because you literally "dump" a few ingredients in a pan and bake until it's golden and set. I do grate some butter to top the cake, but that's it for effort.

It tastes like cake but has more of a cobbler texture.

Serve it warm with vanilla ice cream, and you've got the ultimate lazy-baker dessert.
